Emboldened, Empowered and Energized

You may have had to bide your time thus far in 2010, which is not your favorite mode of operation. Generally, you like to charge ahead when you have a plan in mind. However, last December your ruling planet Mars slipped into reverse gear (retrograde) and has slowed progress ever since. Finally, on March 10 Mars turns direct and will begin moving forward in your 5th House of Creativity. Like a train leaving the station, it will take weeks for Mars to reach full speed, yet even before then you're likely to feel as if you're on more solid ground, and may finally be advancing your professional interests.

Still, the Sun will be moving through your 12th House of Privacy until it moves into Aries on March 20. It's best to be discreet with sharing your plans openly before then.

March 20 is the first day of spring, the beginning of the astrological year when the all-powerful Sun enters your 1st House of Personality. You'll be ready for direct action then, emboldened, empowered and energized to take on new challenges. In fact, if you're stuck in a routine job, the pressure to shake things up will start to build then. This could, at worst, lead to conflicts with bosses or co-workers. If you're feeling edgy, it's wiser to seek positive outlets for your energy than wasting them in battles with others. Taking risks to start a new business, seek additional responsibility or change your ways of working are not only safer than standing still, but can propel your career forward.
